Gold Bracket Champion - Servite
Gold Bracket Runner Up - Washington Union
Gold Bracket 3rd Place - Paso Robles
Gold Bracket 4th place - Santa Barbara
Silver Bracket Champion - Downey (Modesto)
Bronze Bracket Champion - Morro Bay

Lineman Challenge Results:
Champion - Morro Bay
Runner Up - Servite
Third Place - Sanger
Fourth Place - Santa Barbara
5th Place - Frontier

Most exciting game of the day was Washington Union over Santa Barbara with a TD to win with no time left on the clock. Washington Union actually had a 7 point lead with 10 minutes to go against Servite, but eventually lost 32-23.

Upset of the tournament: Templeton beat Paso Robles 33-6 in Pool Play. Mission Prep beat Templeton 26-18 in the Bronze Bracket.

Team Breakdowns from what I saw:
Servite was Servite. Played hard, very physical and had some good athletes.
Washington Union. Not very big, but extremely athletic.
Sanger - Had some good athletes, but down from last year. Not a real good passing team. Defensively they fly around.
Paso Robles - Looks like they always do. Will be good. Would have liked to see what their Linemen were like.
Downey - From Modesto, very disciplined, decent athletes, played hard. Good Team!
Morro Bay - Lineman were awesome! Big strong boys who moved well. Got better as the tournament went on. 3-1 on Saturday. Running backs are excellent! Gonzalez and Gerbracht could be best 2 backs in area. QB - O.K.
Templeton - Only won 2 games. Not a passing team, look very young.
Mission Prep - The suprise of the tournament. Very athletic for a school their size. QB - Morrow great athlete. Will make noise in little division.
Coast Union - Only saw them play Morro Bay, but QB will be fine and had some athletes. Lost to Morro Bay 42-15.

Very competitive all weekend long. Nice 67 degree weather all weekend (scoreboard has tempurature on it) and all teams played hard.

San Luis Obispo, California has a hospital. San Luis Obispo has many medical professionals operating in a variety of specialties. Fundamental healthcare begins with an individual or family?s access to a general physician, call it a family doctor or for children, a Pediatrician and for women a Gynecologist. Certainly, for people like me, a good therapist; better yet, a Psychiatrist! But why is it that someone in San Luis Obispo, California cannot locate a physician that will take new patients?
CityBlog San Luis Obispo, was struck by the frustration that was apparent in Susie Pena’s (a San Luis Obispo, California resident) post on May 9, 2007, which read as follows:
I have been here 1 year this June and have yet to find a doctor that will accept new patients. I am very discouraged that there is no avenue for new residents to find out who is available without a lot of labor intensive efforts.
Does San Luis Obispo have a physician association or, does the hospital know of new physicians coming into San Luis Obispo that are looking for new patients? It would behoove all communities to have some centralized service that maintains a list of physicians who can accept patients as either “new” or on a rotating basis until the new resident can establish regular healthcare.
